We understand nurseries. Their operation hours, the fact that working on site during term time requires high levels of care and professionalism. From not using power tools during the day to working after 3.30 to carry out noisy works and repairs. We understand the limitations of carrying out essentials works and repairs without impacting an efficient nursery environment.
We do not charge overtime for working after 3pm and our team work up to 8pm during term time to carry out essential repairs and works so as not to affect the teaching during the day.
We ensure that we go above and beyond the statutory minimum standards that organisations have to meet with regard to DBS checks for vetting our staff.
During nursery operation term times all contractors which work on school premises with young children will sign in and present their DBS certificate number prior to work commencement.
All of our contractors are required to sign up to the policy on guidance for safer working practice for those working with children and young people in education settings 2015.
We also ensure that all contractors are signed up to the rolling annual DBS check with online access for school managers to verify their status for working with children.
We ensure that all our contractors meet the Disclosure and Barring Service eligibility for those working with children.
