Types of cubicle panel material
Compact grade laminate
Compact grade laminate (CGL) is manufactured using multiple layers of resin-impregnated kraft papers bonded together under pressure and heat. This makes it an incredibly strong and almost damage proof product.
Being so rigid and strong it is ideal for applications requiring strength, damage resistance, hygiene and low maintenance applications. It has excellent resistance to impact, water, humidity and heat. Its inherent properties make it an ideal product for washroom cubicles.
Melamine faced chipboard
The cheaper alternative to Compact Grade Laminate boards. Melamine Board, also known as conti-board and malemine faced chipboard, is a versatile product that can be used for many applications.
The main advantage of melamine faced chipboard is that it does not require any finishing. Once you have constructed a unit and its ready to fit into position it requires no more treatment.
