Project Description
Removing rotten and defective timber loadbearing beams and creating a larger opening as part of a kitchen extension in South West London.
The scope works included installing an RSJ Steel beam to a larger 4m opening to accommodate a 2.4m high sliding door.
The opening beam required a 10mm mild steel plate welded to the underside of the load-bearing beam to support the outer leaf of the Extension blockwork.
